The region Poitou-Charentes is one of the sunniest regions in France, with about 450 km of coast, where you will find nice sandy beaches, pine forests, limestone rocks and protected areas.

In front of the coast you can visit four islands: Isle Madame, Isle d’Aix and the two largest ones Isle d’Oleron and Isle de Ré.

Our region has many monuments and protected nature areas, worth visiting. Some examples: Roman churches, archeological sites, fortresses; like Fort Boyard, caves and picturesque villages.

The soft climate and the pretty nature make a little paradise of our region.
